Hello I'm Terry, a Preston based photographer who specialises in weddings, newborn and family portraiture.

My aim is tell your story through photographs, capturing those special moments that you can treasure in your lives forever. As I offer many different photography services my approach changes to suit the setting. Calm and patient with newborns, or playful with children to make them feel at their ease in front of the camera to capture those special moments. Relaxed and discreet at weddings, to capture a natural look.

When I've asked for feedback from previous clients they have told me that I'm friendly, easy going, funny, reliable, as well as patient and comforting. I offer a professional and well organised experience, paying close attention to the finer details.

How it all started...

My journey to becoming a photographer started in Kenya, for a friend’s wedding and also to help out at a local orphanage. You can only imagine the amount of memories that were captured during those weeks.

First the amazing Kenyan wedding, which had a stunning view of Mount Kenya as a backdrop. As you know, people dream of their wedding days for a very long time, so when the day comes it’s important that as much of it as possible can be captured to share with friends and family. After the dress has been worn, the food has been eaten and the shoes have been danced into the night, the photos stay with you forever to remind you of that special day.

Then was the orphanage. The children who live here come from hard and troubled backgrounds. Despite their pasts, they were all laughing, singing, playing happily and such fun to be around. I took hundreds of photos during the visit.

After the visit, my photos were used in many different ways to document the life changing impact the orphanage had brought to the children's lives. Without my photos, this message could not be spread.

Once back home it soon dawned on me I wanted to capture these moments for people. Whether it's their newborn sleeping peacefully, their children taking their first steps, pulling those funny faces that you love seeing to a family simply strolling in a park. As their children grow up, from birthdays with their friends to their engagements and weddings. These are all big moments in life that only happen once, and I feel it’s important they are captured and treasured.
